A unique wine experience with award-winning author, wine expert, radio & TV personality, columnist, and professor of wine Edward Finstein, "The Wine Doctor".
A week immersed in the enchanting Chianti Hills, surrounded by vineyards. Your "homebase" will be a 15th century country Villa just outside of Florence, on the estate of a noble Florentine family, giving you an insider’s view of the Tuscan lifestyle.
This exciting experience is designed for a small group of wine enthusiasts (Max 12 people) who would enjoy visiting wineries, learning about the different techniques, and meeting the Tuscan winemakers who are so generous in sharing their passion for wine.
Highlights:
- Activities at Villa: catered dinners; olive oil, cheese and wine tastings; cooking lessons and relaxing moments sipping wine as you take in spectacular views.
- Private visits to wineries: Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Super Tuscans.
- Visit to a medieval hamlet in the heart of Chianti Classico, lunch at the famous restaurant of the Dante, quoting Butcher.
- Visit to Florence, the most beautiful renaissance city in the world.
